2 Injured in Malibu Crash on Pacific Coast Highway Near Neptune’s Net

MALIBU, CA (August 1, 2021) – Two were injured after a car crash on Pacific Coast Highway near a restaurant in Malibu.

The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident late Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on July 31 at about 5:40 p.m.

According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Malibu. They crashed on southbound Pacific Coast Highway near the Neptune’s Net.

2 Vehicles Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found two people who ended up hurt. At least one of them sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took one patient to the St. John’s Hospital Camarillo for treatment. Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the No. 2 lane of southbound Pacific Coast Highway to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the Malibu crash is still under investigation.
