Driver Escapes Dangling SUV, Struck by Bus
MALIBU, California (April 3, 2016) – A man who exited his car after an initial crash was struck by a bus on Malibu Canyon road Saturday afternoon, according to CBS Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County Fire Department said the accident was reported about 4:40 p.m. Saturday, north of Pacific Coast Highway.
As per the article, the man was driving an SUV when for an unknown reason the front end of the vehicle slammed into a guardrail, causing it to dangle over the edge of the road.
Malibu-Lost Hills Station deputies affirmed that the driver got out of his SUV and was subsequently hit by the bus. He was transported to a hospital with injuries considered as non-life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
