3 Injured in Malibu Crash on Pacific Coast Highway Near Neptune’s Net

MALIBU, CA (April 10, 2021) – A motorcycle and car crash injured several people along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

According to an article published by The Ventura County Star, the accident on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:55 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol said two motorcycles and a car collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on Pacific Coast Highway near the Neptune’s Net restaurant in Malibu.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Tonga Street and Yerba Buena Road. They described a motorcycle involved as a Harley-Davidson and the car as a 4-door BMW.

Child, 9, Victim in Motorcycle and Car Collision

Medical personnel found three to four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. An air ambulance took one of them, a motorcyclist, to Ventura County Medical Center with major injuries.

A ground ambulance rushed another rider and a 9-year-old victim to Los Robles Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, officials shut down Pacific Coast Highway for more than two hours following the crash.

Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
