Man Dragged and Injured by Mercedes Hit-and-Run Vehicle
LOS ANGELES (July 17, 2018)– According to the California Highway Patrol, a man suffered injuries this morning as a result of a hit-and-run motorist at Slauson Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard.
At precisely 11:29 a.m., the driver of a Mercedes had apparently been involved in a collision with another vehicle occupied by a man.
Following the crash, the unidentified man in the second vehicle exited his car and walked up to the Mercedes in an attempt to speak with the driver. As the man set his hands on the Mercedes, the driver quickly took place dragging the victim for a short distance.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department was immediately notified as were paramedics who assisted the injured man who was eventually taken by ambulance to a hospital in unknown condition.
Meanwhile, it appears as though the hit-and-run motorist remains at-large and undetained at this time.
California Highway Patrol officials are the agency handling the investigation.
