Carlos Cisneros Jr., 26, Arrested
SANTA MARIA, California (April 16, 2016) – A man was hospitalized after a DUI crash in the area of Miller Street and Alvin Avenue late Friday night, according to KSBY. (map)
Santa Maria Police Department said 26-year-old Carlos Cisneros Jr. was driving his pickup recklessly north on Miller Street at around 10:45 p.m.
Witnesses claimed Cisneros Jr. passed multiple cars and ran a red light, traveling into the intersection at Alvin Avenue where he crashed into the driver’s side of another pickup truck.
That force of the collision sent the second truck forward, hitting a parked vehicle.
As per KSBY, the male motorist in that pickup was extricated and then taken to a local hospital with moderate internal injuries. He was reportedly wearing his seat belt at the time.
Meanwhile, Cisneros Jr. was unharmed and was arrested for DUI. He has been booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.
