SUV Hits Man in Motorized Wheelchair on Antelope Boulevard
RED BLUFF, Calif. (Oct. 23, 2024) – A 64-year-old man driving a motorized wheelchair died Tuesday night in a car accident on Antelope Boulevard in Red Bluff.
According to the Red Bluff Police Department, the deadly crash happened just before 7 p.m. on Oct. 22nd along Antelope Boulevard.
A 41-year-old driver in a Ford SUV was traveling eastbound when the vehicle collided head-on into the oncoming motorized wheelchair traveling westbound in the eastbound number two lane.
Paramedics responded, but were unable to save the man in the wheelchair who died at the scene.
The driver of the Ford cooperated with authorities and the investigation into the wheelchair crash on Antelope Boulevard.
The Red Bluff Police Department is handling the investigation and asking witnesses to contact them at 530-527-3131.
