
Man on Electric Bicycle Hit by Car at Newport and La Loma in Tustin
NORTH TUSTIN, Calif. (Jan. 22, 2025) – A man riding an e-bike was injured Sunday in a car accident on Newport Avenue at La Loma Drive in North Tustin.
The bicycle accident occurred at around 12:23 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19th, according to a report by County News TV.
The cyclist was riding a white Rad Power Bike when a driver in a black sedan struck him at the intersection.
Paramedics responded and located the injured man and his e-bike down in traffic lanes. The woman driving the black car stopped just ahead of the crash scene.
The injured man was transported to a nearby trauma center for treatment of undisclosed injuries and there is no further information.
The driver involved was checked by law enforcement to determine if drugs and or alcohol were factors in the bike accident.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are under investigation.
