Pedestrian Dies in Alleged Hit-and-Run Collision on West Pacheco Boulevard
Los Banos, CA (September 10, 2022) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred Friday morning on West Pacheco Boulevard, the Merced Sun-Star News reported.

Officials said they received calls about a body found lying in the 1500 block of West Pacheco Boulevard around 5:56 a.m. When the Los Banos police officers arrived at the site, they immediately rendered aid to the victim. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the man sadly died at the scene.
According to the article published online, the victim had injuries consistent to being hit by a car. Our sources indicated the force from the impact threw the pedestrian into the south curb line of the roadway.
Authorities added they spotted vehicle debris in the area. However, information on the driver involved in the unfortunate event remained unclear. Detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation is ongoing on the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on West Pacheco Boulevard in Los Banos.
