Man in Wheelchair Struck by Car at University Avenue and Florida Street
SAN DIEGO (October 2, 2017) – A man in a motorized wheelchair was struck by a vehicle at University Avenue and Florida Street early Monday morning, according to On Scene TV.
As per the article, the man in wheelchair was traveling eastbound on University Avenue at approximately 1:30 a.m. when he was struck by a white Toyota sedan. Reports added that the area where the crash happened is under heavy construction.

Officials did not disclose the extent of injuries sustained by the victim, but they said the man was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital ER for treatment.
