Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 99 Friday
Manteca, CA (September 17, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of State Route Highway 99 and 120 Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, several vehicles collided at the crossing of SR-99 and SR-120, also known as Yosemite Avenue. Officials described the cars found at the scene as a pickup truck; and black Honda SUV; a red Ford Mustang; and a gray sedan.
The multi-vehicle crash took place shortly after 5:20 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pickup truck overturned on its roof. Authorities added the gray sedan sustained major front-end damage due to the force from the impact.

Responding medical personnel checked the physical condition of all parties at the crash site. The CHP log confirmed one person had to be transported to a hospital for treatment.
Additional details on the car accident in Manteca remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision.
