1 Injured in Manteca Car Crash on Highway 120 Near Airport Way
MANTECA, CA (September 22, 2021) – At least one was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 120 near Airport Way in Manteca.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident early Monday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 2:36 a.m.
The accident happened on September 20 when a Honda Civic and another vehicle collided in Manteca. The two crashed on eastbound Highway 120, just west of Airport Way.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP mentioned that two male occupants abandoned their car and fled on foot. Officers forced the eastbound lanes of Highway 120 near Airport Way to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Manteca crash is still under investigation.
