1 Seriously Injured in Manteca Crash on Eastbound Highway 120
MANTECA, CA (April 15, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash along Highway 120 in Manteca.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:51 p.m.
Their report log said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed in the eastbound lanes of Highway 120, just east of Main Street, in Manteca.
Multi-Car Collision Near Main Street and Union Road
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Union Road. They found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the names of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the roadway to shut down following the Manteca crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
