Major Injury Rollover Crash on Highway 120 in Manteca
MANTECA, Calif. (August 30, 2022) — A major-injury rollover crash happened Monday afternoon on the eastbound Highway 120 at the Yosemite Avenue on ramp in Manteca.
The drivers of two vehicles crashed about 2:52 p.m. on August 29th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The two vehicles possibly collided with a big rig truck before veering off the roadway and rolling down an embankment. Both vehicles were found overturned on their roofs. At least two people became trapped in the wreckage following the collision.
Firefighters responded to extricate those trapped in a vehicle. Also, at least one person suffered major injuries in the collision.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together evidence and statements from those involved in the Manteca crash.
