Pedestrian, 34, Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Moffat and Powers
MANTECA (June 8, 2018) – A 34-year-old woman was injured after being hit by a vehicle in the area of Moffat Boulevard and South Powers Avenue Thursday evening, according to CBS News.
Officials said a female pedestrian was found downed on the roadway after being struck by an alleged hit-and-run motorist at the intersection.
Woman Injured in Manteca Hit-and-run Accident
Medical records indicated the woman was treated for minor injuries by the Manteca emergency personnel. The victim was further transported to a hospital where she was listed in stable condition.
Meanwhile, officials said the driver involved in the collision evaded the accident scene before authorities arrived.
As per the article, authorities have not been able to locate the vehicle involved–a red small, older box-shaped vehicle.
