Injury Traffic Collision on Highway 120 Saturday
Manteca, CA (July 13, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run car crash on State Route 120 on July 10, Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the highway in Manteca. Initial records indicated the force from the impact caused one car to veer into the right-hand shoulder of State Route 120. That car continued traveling, and only came to a rest after crashing down the ditch near the Main Street offramp.

Shortly after 10:45 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Paramedics reportedly found at least one person with injuries. At this time, the name of the victim and the extent of the their trauma have not been revealed thus far.
Authorities later confirmed the other motorist involved in the collision fled the scene. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the car crash on State Route 120 is ongoing.
