Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run at Venice Boulevard and Centinela
LOS ANGELES (December 28, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident in the area of Venice Boulevard and Centinela Avenue Thursday night, according to On Scene TV and Venice-Mar Patch.
The collision took place on December 27 at around 8:55 p.m. in the Mar Vista neighborhood.
As per the reports, police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason near the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Centinela Avenue.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the pedestrian left lying in the roadway as a result of the crash.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police believed that the driver involved did not stop after hitting the person and fled without rendering aid. The suspect car was described as a black SUV.
The incident remains under investigation.
