3 Dublin High School Students Killed in Solo Crash
PLEASANTON, Calif. (Dec. 27, 2019) —Twin brothers, Marc and Michael Urista, both 16, and their friend, Javier Ramirez, died in a collision on Christmas night that took place on Foothill Road near Pleasanton’s Castelwood County Club.
Two other teenagers were critically injured in the solo-vehicle collision about 10 p.m. on Dec. 25th.
The vehicle they were riding in reportedly crashed into a power pole and wraped around a tree on its side, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver and two passengers who died were found inside the car and the two surviving passengers had been ejected.
Paramedics responded and rushed the two injured teenagers to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision, but early indications are that drugs and alcohol are not a factor.
