Marc Stevens, 59, Killed in Cathedral City Crash at Dinah Shore and Cathedral Canyon
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (June 6, 2021) – A car crash killed Marc Stevens at Dinah Shore and Cathedral Canyon drives in Cathedral City.
The coroner’s office identified the 59-year-old Palm Springs man as the victim of the wreck which occurred on Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened when Marc Stevens was driving in Cathedral City. For an unknown reason, his vehicle collided with two others at the intersection of Dinah Shore and Cathedral Canyon drives.
1 Injured in Fatal Car Collision Saturday
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found Marc Stevens suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash. He died at the scene.
The Desert Sun and My News LA wrote that the accident took place on June 5 shortly after 1 p.m. Another driver involved sustained minor wounds following the collision.
Medical personnel took the wounded patient to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, officers closed the eastbound lanes on Dinah Shore near Cathedral Canyon for several hours after the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Cathedral City crash is still under investigation.
