Marco Harris, 25, Killed in Sacramento Crash Near El Camino and Erin
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 7, 2021) – A motorcycle crash killed Marco Harris near El Camino Avenue and Erin Drive in Sacramento.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the 25-year-old man as the victim of the fatal wreck which occurred on Monday.
Sacramento police said the incident happened on July 5 when Marco Joseph Harris was riding a motorcycle. For an unknown reason, he collided with a passenger vehicle.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The two crashed near the intersection of West El Camino Avenue and Erin Drive. FOX 40 News and KCRA News wrote that the accident took place shortly after 3:10 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene. They found Marco Harris ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel rushed him to a hospital, where he died. Meanwhile, police did not mention if the driver of the car sustained any wound or if they stopped after the collision.
Officers shut down El Camino Avenue in both directions between Thelma Avenue and Reiner Way for several hours following the wreck. The cause of the Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
