Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Newport Road in Menifee
MENIFEE, Calif. (Sept. 11, 2018) – Marco Valencia, 36, of San Jacinto, was identified as the motorcyclist who died Monday night in a car accident on Newport Road, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The two-vehicle collision took place at the intersection with Menifee Road, according to a report by the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
The traffic accident was reported at 11:18 p.m. on Sept. 10th. Firefighters responded and found a vehicle and a motorcycle had collided. The motorcycle rider suffered major injuries and died at the scene. Police found the car had overturned multiple times after the collision, but the two occupants did not suffer any serious injuries.
The Menifee Police Department’s Traffic Collision Team is heading up the investigation. Witnesses are asked to contact Deputy Smith at the Perris Station at 951-210-1000.
