1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Lakeview Crash on Ramona Expressway
LAKEVIEW, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2022) – Marcus Adkins, 38, of Moreno Valley, died in a Lakeview crash late Sunday night on the Ramona Expressway at Bridge Street in Riverside County.
The solo-vehicle rollover crash took place about 10:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18th, between Perris and Gilman Hot Springs, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
Paramedics and police responded to the crash scene and located Marcus Adkins suffering from major injuries. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the Moreno Valley man died at the scene about 10:58 a.m., the coroner said.
Meanwhile, a second person survived with undisclosed injuries and they transported the person to a hospital, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Finally, investigators with the California Highway Patrol – Riverside are working on the case and will determine fault for the collision.
