Motorcyclist, Mercedes Crash at Prairie and Regent
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (June 11, 2018) – Marcus Gonzalez, 21, has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a collision Friday night at Prairie Avenue and Regent Street, according to the Inglewood Police Department.
The crash took place as the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Prairie Avenue and crashed into a Mercedes that was making a left-hand turn in front of him at Regent Street. The rider was taken to a hospital by ambulance, but sadly died of his injuries. The driver in the Mercedes was also taken to a hospital for injuries.
The Inglewood Police Department is heading up the investigation.

It is unknown at this time whether criminal charges will be filed against the driver who allegedly caused the collision.
