ALPINE, CA (June 4, 2021) – Maria del Carmen Estrada de Dore was killed after a car crash on the Interstate 8 in Alpine.
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the 63-year-old San Diego woman as one of the victims in the fatal wreck on Thursday evening.
The incident began when Maria del Carmen Estrada de Dore was riding as a back seat passenger in a black 2006 GMC Sierra in Alpine.

The California Highway Patrol said both cars then swerved and rolled over into the shrub-covered median. One of them became engulfed in flames upon impact.
