Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman at North Comanche Drive and Russell Street Monday
Arvin, CA (October 6, 2021) – Maria Angela Morales, a 72-year-old Arvin resident, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of North Comanche Drive and Russell Street.
On September 27, Monday, a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl struck a female pedestrian at the intersection in Arvin. The make and model of the car involved in the collision remained unknown at this time.
Maria Morales, 72, Killed in Arvin Pedestrian Accident
The KGET News published an article online indicated the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Kern County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of the deceased as Maria Angela Morales.
Meanwhile, our sources mentioned the teenager driver stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident in Arvin.
