Manteca Woman, 55, Killed in San Bernardino Crash
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (March 22, 2022) — Maria De Jesus Gastelum Ibarra Tamayo, 55, of Manteca, died Sunday morning in a San Bernardino crash 5th Street and Waterman Avenue.
The accident happened about 10:10 a.m. on Sunday, March 20th, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.
The woman was riding in a vehicle near the intersection of 5th Street and Waterman Avenue. It’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident or how many vehicles were involved.
Paramedics responded and located the passenger, Maria Tamayo suffering from major injuries. They transported her by ambulance to the emergency department at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Sadly, the woman later died at the hospital.
Investigators with the San Bernardino Police Department will determine fault for the case.
