1 Killed, 2 Injured in Sacramento Crash at Elder Creek and Florin Perkins Roads
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 18, 2022) – Marilyn Pillos, 61, of Sacramento, died in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning at Elder Creek Road and Florin Perkins Road in Sacramento.
The collision occurred about 6:42 a.m. on Sunday, May 15th, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner.
Two other people were injured in the collision at the south Sacramento intersection, according to The Sacramento Bee.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded and located two vehicles that collided for an unknown reason.
The motorists involved included a Ford sedan and a Toyota SUV.
Marilyn Pillos died at the scene of the crash. Meanwhile, two others suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics transported both of the injured people by ambulances to the hospital for further treatment.
Finally, the cause of the fatal Sacramento crash and liability remain under investigation.
