2-Vehicle Car Accident in Mariposa
MARIPOSA, Calif. (June 16, 2023) — A head-on crash in Mariposa happened Friday morning at East Whitlock Road and Yosemite Oaks Drive.
The collision occurred around 9:06 a.m. on June 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Volkswagen bug and a grey Ford F-250 pickup truck were involved, the dispatch report said.
Cal Fire sent firefighters and paramedics to help those injured in the crash. At least one person suffered major injuries in the collision. Both of the vehicles had major front-end damage from the collision, the report said.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
The Mariposa crash on Whitlock Road remains under investigation.
