Young Compton Woman Killed in Westminster Freeway Crash
WESTMINSTER, Calif. (Jan. 17, 2022) – Marisol Martinez Rebeles, 18, of Compton, died in a multi-vehicle crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Westminster.
The 18-year-old Compton teen died in a two-vehicle collision about 4:45 a.m. on Sunday near Westminster Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified the victim as Marisol Martinez Rebeles.
Additionally, the deadly crash happened about 4:45 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16th in the northbound lanes of the San Diego Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol reported the drivers of an SUV and a sedan were involved. Also, a third vehicle possibly crashed into the center divider. Paramedics responded to the scene of the crash, but sadly Marisol Martinez Rebeles died due to severe injuries.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the deadly Westminster crash.
