Mark Baldus ID’d as Victim Killed in 110 Freeway Crash
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 3, 2018) – A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday night on the northbound 110 Harbor Freeway in Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim has been identified as Mark Baldus, 53.
The collision took place at about 9:29 p.m. near the West Gage Avenue off-ramp.
Police stated in the report that the driver of a white Jeep Cherokee reported the collision. He told police he had struck a male pedestrian. It turns out that the victim had just exited his vehicle on the freeway when he was struck by the oncoming Jeep.
The man died at the scene.
