Mark Bocanegra Dies in Collision at Church Avenue and Stratford Street Saturday
Highland, CA (September 12, 2021) – Mark Bocanegra died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Church Avenue and Stratford Street Saturday evening.
The CBS Los Angeles reported Mark Bocanegra was riding a motorized scooter heading south on Church Avenue. When the rider approached the area near Stratford Street, he collided with a 2015 Ford F150. Preliminary investigation revealed the front of the scooter slammed into the passenger’s side of the Ford.
Deadly Scooter Accident in Highland, September 11
Shortly after 8:15 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found Mark Bocanegra unconscious. Despite life-saving measures, the scooter rider succumbed to his injuries and died.
No immediate information was available on the driver of the Ford.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine liability in the deadly scooter accident in Highland.
