Mark Snow, 35, and Adam West, 59, Both Killed in Adelanto Car Accident
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 13, 2019) — Two men died in a head-on collision Friday night on US 395 Highway, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The collision took place at 10:31 p.m. just south of Shadow Mountain on U.S. Highway 395. A Cadillac XT5 SUV heading southbound on Highway 395 crossed over the double yellow lines and into the path of a northbound white Toyota Camry sedan. Witnesses told authorities that the Cadillac was driving recklessly prior to the collision. It’s unknown at this time whether or not that driver was suffering from a medical emergency or not.
Mark Snow, 35, of Helendale, was driving the Toyota and Adam West, 59, Los Alamitos was driving the Cadillac.
The head-on impact left both men dead at the scene.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff Department’s Adelanto Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the circumstances of the collision.

Police are reviewing the facts of this accident and will ultimately determine fault. It’s unknown at this time whether or not drugs and or alcohol were factors. Police will piece together evidence and also look into whether the driver who caused the crash was speeding or violating any other traffic laws.
