Riverside County Accident Investigation
It’s unknown at this time who had the right-of-way when this woman was killed, but a driver who flees the scene of a fatal crash may be held liable in criminal and civil court. Police are reviewing the evidence and interviews with potential witnesses to piece together what happened. Our law firm has fought for victim’s rights and to obtain justice for them for more than a decade. If a negligent driver or entity is at fault for a collision resulting in injuries to you or a loved one, there may be grounds for a civil lawsuit or wrongful death claim. While this is always a personal decision, for many the financial losses associated with a traffic accident are significant.
It’s important to note, however, that it’s quite common for insurance companies to try and avoid paying out a claim even when they know their insured is responsible. They may also make an offer to settle for far less than the full amount owed.
