Marlene Saravia-Bonilla Killed in Panorama City Hit-and-Run Crash

Woman Struck, Killed at Panorama City Shopping Center
PANORAMA CITY, Calif. (Dec. 29, 2025) — Marlene Saravia-Bonilla, 40, was killed early Friday morning when she was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene in the parking lot of a Panorama City shopping center, authorities said.
The fatal collision occurred on Dec. 26th at 4:55 a.m. as Saravia-Bonilla was in the parking lot of The Plant Shopping Center, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Investigators said an unidentified vehicle entering the shopping center from Van Nuys Boulevard struck her and continued driving eastbound through the property without stopping.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Saravia-Bonilla dead at the location.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office released her identity Monday. No description of the suspect vehicle or driver was immediately available.
