Marley Gregory Fatal Stanford Crash on I-280 Freeway at Alpine Road

Fatal Crash on I-280 Freeway in Stanford

Fatal Stanford Crash on I-280 Freeway at Alpine Road STANFORD, Calif. (June 29, 2020) — Marley Marie Gregory, 23, of San Jose, died in a collision on the southbound Interstate 280 Freeway in Stanford.

The young woman was identified by the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office.

The crash was reported at 2:34 p.m. when a small white Toyota Tundra pickup truck crashed into a wall. The vehicle appeared to have been hit from behind by a large vehicle, the California Highway Patrol report said. It’s unknown at this time if that other vehicle pulled over or fled the scene.

A SigAlert was issued due to two lanes being blocked and the coroner was called to the scene.  Gregory was driving the pickup truck and there were no passengers aboard the vehicle.

The cause of the crash and liability are under investigation.
