Martin Clifton, 59, Fatally Struck by Truck at Gas Station Friday
Fairfield, CA (June 12, 2021) – Martin Clifton, a 59-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident at a gas station on Travis Boulevard.
The Reporter published an article online indicating a man was pumping gas into his truck at the station in the 3000 block of Travis Boulevard. At some point, Martin Clifton wedged himself for an unknown reason between the truck and the attached trailer.
The horrible crash happened when the truck driver drove off after his business. Per local news source, the driver did not see Martin Clifton, leading to the catastrophic incident.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Fairfield, June 11
Authorities confirmed the collision resulted in fatal injuries to the pedestrian. The Solano County Coroner’s Official confirmed the identity of the deceased as Martin Clifton, of Fairfield.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the truck driver stopped after he was made aware he hit a man.
Further investigation on the deadly pedestrian accident is underway.
