Motorcyclist Killed in Lancaster Hit-and-Run Crash
LANCASTER, Calif. (August 1, 2022) – Martin Contreras, 59, of Lancaster, died in a motorcycle crash on Sierra Highway Monday morning in Lancaster.
A driver in a white SUV reportedly struck the man riding a motorcycle and fled the scene this morning, according to a City News Service report.
Additionally, the traffic accident occurred about 12:50 a.m. on Sierra Highway, just north of Avenue I, according to a report by the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
Meanwhile, the rider, Martin Contreras, 59, of Lancaster, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, according to the watch commander at the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Investigators are piecing together evidence to determine liability for the deadly Lancaster collision.
