Martin Stapley Hospitalized After Boating Accident on Shasta Lake Wednesday
Shasta Lake, CA (March 27, 2021) – Martin Stapley suffered injuries following a boat crash on Shasta Lake Wednesday noon, the Action News reported.
Our sources indicated two boats collided on the Pit Arm of Shasta Lake. The accident took place near the Arbuckle Flat Campground in Shasta County.

According to the news article published online, the crash happened before 1 p.m. Preliminary investigation revealed John Stevenson was operating a boat heading west on Shasta Lake. On the other hand, Martin Stapley was also on a boat traveling in the opposite direction. As the boats approached a blind corner, the drivers attempted to move away from each other to avoid collision. However, both John Stevenson and Martin Stapley ended up steering in the same direction, leading to the crash.
Medical personnel later reported Martin Stapley suffered major injuries as a result of the incident. Paramedics transported the injured party to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on John Stevenson.
Further investigation on the boat crash at Shasta Lake is underway.
