Passenger Killed in Crash on SR-4 Monday
MARTINEZ, Ca (July 6, 2020) – One person died and another suffered injuries following a solo-vehicle accident on Highway 4 Monday, the Mercury News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle with at least two occupants crashed for an unknown reason on eastbound SR-4, just east of Cummings Skyway. First responders found the car off the roadway and smashed into a tree.
A short time after 9:40 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the scene and rendered aid to the possible victims. Paramedics later affirmed one person, the passenger, was sadly killed in the mishap.
The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, officials said the driver survived with unknown injuries. A land ambulance transported the patient to a hospital for treatment.
