Marylou Caballero, 53, Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Crash on Herndon Avenue
FRESNO, CA (November 11, 2021) – Marylou Caballero was killed after a pedestrian crash on Herndon Avenue in Fresno.
Police identified the 53-year-old Fresno woman as the victim in the fatal collision which took place on Thursday morning.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck Marylou Lujan Caballero for an unknown reason in northwest. The car hit her on westbound Herndon Avenue, west of Milburn Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived, in front of a GB3 gym. They found Marylou Caballero lying on the ground as a result of the pedestrian accident.
Medical personnel soon pronounced her dead at the scene. The Fresno Bee and ABC 30 News wrote that the collision took place at about 5:45 a.m.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the woman. Officers forced westbound Herndon Avenue to shut down four hours following the crash.
The cause of the Fresno pedestrian incident is still under investigation.
