1 Seriously Injured in Marysville Crash at Highway 70 and Ramirez Road
YUBA COUNTY, CA (July 17, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 70 and Ramirez Road near Marysville.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:41 p.m.
CHP said a blue Toyota Highlander and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason near Marysville in Yuba County. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 70 and Ramirez Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Tambo community. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 70 and Ramirez Road to shut down for an hour following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Marysville crash.
