1 Seriously Injured in Marysville Car Crash on Northbound Highway 70
MARYSVILLE, CA (April 23, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash along Highway 70 in Marysville.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Friday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 6:48 p.m.
CHP said a dark gray Dodge Ram and a white Ford pickup collided for an unknown reason. The two trucks crashed on northbound Highway 70, just north of Silva Avenue, in Marysville.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Laurellen Road. They found one person who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Adventist Health and Rideout for treatment of a broken arm and lacerations to arm.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the roadway to close for roughly an hour following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Marysville car crash.
