Major Injury Collision on Highway 70 Wednesday
Marysville, CA (February 2, 2022) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 70 Wednesday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a van collided with a Ford Excursion on the highway near Boyer Road. After the crash, the van rolled over and landed on its side.

Shortly after 4:37 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found children trapped in the overturned van. Firefighters worked extensively to pull out all the victims. After the successful extrication process, paramedics rushed as many as three patients to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. The names of the victims and their conditions at this time have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the crash happened on State Route 70 in Marysville.
