Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on Highway 65 Friday
Marysville, CA (December 3, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 65, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle struck an individual on the highway in Marysville. The horrible crash took place near Forty Mile Road ramp.
Shortly after 8:17 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately searched for the pedestrian. The CHP log mentioned the victim was not visible on the traffic lanes.

Authorities later confirmed the pedestrian sadly died as a result of the collision. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the deadly accident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the pedestrian accident on State Route 65 in Marysville happened.
