Matthew Winks, 42, Fatally Struck by Vehicle at 5th Avenue at 7th Street Saturday
Jamestown, CA (October 13, 2020) – A 42-year-old man died in a suspected hit-and-run collision in the area of 5th Avenue at 7th Street on October 3, Saturday.
According to an article published by FOX40, a man driving a white 1998 Ford F-150 allegedly intentionally hit Matthew Winks. The crash took place at the intersection of 5th Avenue at 7th Street at an unspecified time.
Our sources confirmed Winks sadly died as a result of the incident. It remained unclear whether the victim died at the scene or at a hospital.
Dylan Colby Moyle Arrested After Deadly Hit-and-Run Accident in Jamestown
Meanwhile, officials confirmed the motorist involved in the catastrophic event continued driving following the crash. The California Highway Patrol officers later identified the hit-and-run suspect as Dylan Colby Moyle. Investigators located the suspect in Manteca, then police arrested Moyle .
Further investigation on the deadly hit-and-run pedestrian accident is ongoing.
