Suspect Vehicle is Stolen Car
MAYWOOD, CALIFORNIA (April 5, 2016) – At least one person was injured following a hit and run crash at Fruitland Avenue and South Downey Road Tuesday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 9:19 p.m.
Preliminary record stated that the alleged suspect’s vehicle was possibly an orange or a brown Lexus sedan and it was claimed to be a stolen vehicle.
Meanwhile, the other car involved in the wreck was not identified.
The force from the impact was significant, resulting in at least one person sustaining wounds, as noted in the incident description by the CHP log team.
Paramedics were immediate to rescue at the scene.
Identity of the hurt party remained private with the authorities until families have been respectively notified.
Further in the CHP report, the suspect was narrated to have been detained for vehicle theft.
Investigation on the cause of the smash remained underway.
