Two Hurt in 2-Vehicle Crash in McFarland
MCFARLAND, Calif. (July 14, 2021) — A McFarland crash on Pond Road Wednesday morning left two people injured.
Alejandro Hernandez, 27, and Bryan Rivera, 22, were both injured in the crash involving a pickup truck that overturned.
The traffic accident happened about 5:54 a.m. near Stradley Avenue between a black Ford F-450 pickup truck and another motorist, according to the California Highway Patrol.
During the collision, the pickup truck overturned and landed on its wheels in a field. Also, the other vehicle wound up in a nearby orchard, police said.

Additionally, medical personnel took the two injured men by ambulances to Kern Medical Center. The CHP report confirmed they suffered moderate injuries in the McFarland crash on Pond Road. It’s unknown if the men were drivers or passengers in the vehicles. However, both vehicles suffered significant damage and required tow trucks to remove them from the crash scene.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together evidence to determine the cause of the McFarland crash on Pond Road.
