Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Garzoli Avenue Saturday
McFarland, CA (April 3, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Sherwood Avenue Saturday evening.
The KGET News reported a vehicle struck an individual on Sherwood just west of Garzoli Avenue. According to the article published online, the collision took place at about 10:50 p.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Sherwood Avenue in McFarland
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found a body lying in the roadway. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, our sources confirmed the motorist involved in the crash fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
