2 Killed in Collision Near Highway 46
McFarland, CA (April 24, 2022) – Two people died following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 99 Sunday morning.
The KGET News reported a passenger vehicle crashed into the back of a semi truck in the area near Highway 46. Our sources indicated the collision took place in the northbound side of SR-99 just south of McFarland.
Shortly after 2:30 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the accident sadly killed two people. The names of the fatal victims remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, authorities added a third person sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Personal information on the patient have not been revealed thus far.
Detectives stayed at the crash site the whole morning. They continue to investigate the precise cause of the unfortunate event on Highway 99 in McFarland.
