1 Hospitalized After Traffic Collision on State Route Highway 46 Friday
McFarland, CA (September 6, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a truck accident that occurred on State Route 46, the California Highway Patrol group reported.

On September 3, Friday, a big rig collided head-on into a pickup on Highway 46 near the Famoso Road offramp. Officials said the white semi box trailer sustained major front-end damage due to the force from the impact.
The CHP logged the incident around 3 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a 60-year-old inside the white Toyota Tacoma. Paramedics extricated the victim, then treated the injuries to her leg. An ambulance later arrived at the crash site then transported the patient to a hospital.
Additional details on the truck accident in McFarland remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly what happened here and why.
