MCKITTRICK, California (May 16, 2016) — Two people were injured early Monday morning when a pickup truck and a semi-tractor trailer truck collided on 2nd Street, State Route Highway 58, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 6:33 a.m. this morning at the intersection with West Side Highway 33. The crash was blocking traffic. Paramedics were sent to the scene to help the injured including one person with a possible broken leg and a second with complaints of shoulder pain. Two tow trucks were sent to the scene of the crash to remove the vehicles.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash to determine liability.
